At Hazen Select, it’s our goal to try and help every player that wants to compete in our program. We offer scholarships to those in need of a little help or more. Scholarships are based on a first come, first serve basis as we only have enough funds to offer up to 3 per season. Each player/family can receive 1 scholarship during their lifetime. This allows more than just a few families to benefit over the 4-8th grade span. In order to receive a scholarship your child must be receiving help from the school lunch program. If you child receives a free lunch the fee is 1/3 of the regular season fee plus you will have to purchase your child’s uniform. If your child receives a partial free lunch the regular season fee is half of the season fee plus you will have to purchase your child’s uniform. In order to receive a scholarship you will be required to provide proof of the assistance from the Renton School District. We are a small program and do our best to keep the fee’s low while at the same time making sure every child that’s going to Hazen has a chance to compete for Hazen Select.
